Assembly Ideas

8R’s assembly is on … 6th March – might be a bit early for Easter.

As discussed this morning, use the 8R Wiki to add your ideas for assembly.  I will then sit down with your form captains and 6th formers to decide which one we will go for (or we might draw up a shortlist and then have a vote).

Assembly Ideas

Bearing in mind our discussion this morning, add your ideas for 8R’s assembly as comments to this post.

Form Christmas Decoration Competition

Jingle Bells……!

Yet it is nearly that time of year already.

The title for the competition this year is ‘ANGELS’.

The form will be required to ‘dress’ one display board for the form room.

It will be judged in the last week of term (date to be given in due course.)

There are 6h formers avaible to help with the junior years.

8R’s del.icio.us

I have changed the password for 8R’s del.icio.us

This means that any of us can login and add our favourite websites.  These could be useful for school, wacky, fun or just your favourites – just be sensible!

Go to http://del.icio.us/8rshr and login as 8rshr – the password is our usual door code password.  When you add a site, make sure that you add appropriate tags (e.g. History if it is a useful history site) and under notes put “added by (your username)” so we know who is responsible.

The ten latest bookmarks will be shown under the RSS feed widget in the sidebar.

Happy Bookmarking!

Human Clock

I think I could get seriously addicted to this site….

Right, we need an original idea in order to get our photo on the site.  Have a look at the guidelines and then see what you can come up with.  We also need to decide which time slot we are going to go for.
